Amilcar Cabral Ideological School Movement

ACIS-M African Liberation Day 2020 Solidarity Message

2020-05-24 by A-APRP Editor Leave a Comment

Amandla, Aweithu! Aweithu, Amandla!

We of the Amilcar Cabral Ideological School Movement,  ACIS-M based in Nigeria bring fraternal solidarity to our sisters and brothers in all the Chapters of All-African People’s Revolutionary Party (A-APRP) on the 62nd Anniversary of the African Liberation Day, which is also the 57th Anniversary of the Organisation of Africa Unity OAU known now as African Union (AU).

We want to specifically acknowledged the invitations from the A-APRP Chapters in Ghana and Guinea Bissau- the home of Amilcar.

On this occasion, ACIS-M want to join forces with A-APRP to demand the total decolonization of Western Sahara. We have a responsibility to demand that no single colony should remain in Africa. As foremost African icon and founder of the African Liberation idea postulated: Africa is not free as long as a part of Africa is still under colonial occupation and domination. ACIS-M considers the independence of the various African nation-states meaningless so long as Western Sahara is under the occupation of Morocco and the imperialist control of European nations.

The agenda set by the A-APRP in this 62nd African Liberation Day has the total support and declaration of ACIS-M that the war against Africa must stop. Along this line, we also demand that the Imperialist subversion of the sovereign rights of nations in Latin America and the Middle East should no longer be undermined.

Cuba, especially, being the longest victim of the economic sanctions imposed by the US Imperialist against its sovereign people who have chosen the path of Socialism and Humanity. Therefore, ACIS-M unequivocally demands an END to the blockade of Cuba, the same way we demand an end to the blockade of Venezuela, whose choice of the path of Bolivarian Revolution must be respected. We equally say: Unblock CUBA, Unblock VENEZUELA, for Humanity to triumph!

We must also add our voice to demand that all the sanctions against Zimbabwe by the Imperialists must stop. It is criminal, it is unjust and it is unacceptable!  Every country deserves the rights to exercise their sovereignty without interference by a criminal external power. The rights of sovereignty of the Cuban people, the rights of sovereignty of the Venezuelan people, of sovereignty of the Saharawi and the Zimbabwe people must at all times be respected and upheld by all peace loving people in the world.

ACIS-M also, on this occasion salutes all African revolutionary movements and forces and wants to encourage that we should join forces to rid, not only in Africa, of domination, of exploitation, economic sanctions, aggression, of blockades, of imperialist manipulation, of US terrorist acts, but in all parts of Humanity. In this stead, ACIS-M identifies with the goals and dreams of the Cuban Revolution, we identify with the goals and dreams of the Bolivarian Revolution in Venezuela, we identify with the goals and dreams of all our African ancestors, of Nkrumah, Sekou Toure, Modibo Keita, Patrice Lumumba, Ahmed Ben Bella, Julius Nyerere, Amilcar Cabral, Samora Machel, Winnie Mandela and Malcolm X and several others we would have mentioned but for the short solidarity message we have to deliver on this occasion.

Viva Africa, Viva Cuba, Viva Venezuela, Viva the Saharawi people, Viva Socialism and a United Africa Socialist State!
